Mayon Volcano’s status remains at Alert Level 1. This means that a hazardous eruption is unlikely. The public, however, is reminded that the 7-km Extended Danger Zone (EDZ) at the southeaster flank of the volcano and the 6-km radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) at other areas remain off-limits due to the continuing threat from sudden small explosions and rockfalls from the upper slopes. Active river channels and those areas perennially identified as lahar-prone around the volcano should be avoided when there is heavy and prolonged rainfall.

Anyway, so much for its description. Haha. I've been to Bicol when I was 14 years old I think, and we've stayed there for almost two weeks. I can't forget it because Bicol is so good and also the Mayon Volcano which is nung nakita ko, as in ganyan na ganyan katulad nung nasa picture sa taas na covered with clouds because rainy season nung nagtravel kami and sayang kasi wala akong picture na sakin talaga galing kaya kumuha na lang ako sa internet. Hihi. Actually last May 2012 my two bestfriends went to Sorsogon, Bicol naman kasi dun yong province ng isa sa kanila at kasama dapat talaga ako non pero hindi kasi ako pumwede dahil sa ilang kadahilanan so I swear to myself na next time na babalik don (and i know na babalik naman talaga dahil yearly na ginagawa yon haha) pipilitin ko na talagang makasama.
Aside from the Mayon Volcano, I've also tasted good foods like Ginataang Laing which is actually one of my favorite ulam talaga in the world, Bicol's Adobong Manok na walang toyo kaya kulay puti sya and many many moooore! And just to add, even if you don't have work in there, you won't feel like you're so poor because you can survive life there by being wise and having also your own crop and its fruits. Then if you just want a "breathe of fresh air", you must go to Bicol to feel it and I'm pretty sure you won't regret and you'll thank me for convincing you to go there. Lol.

So to end this, I would say that Bicol is one of the bestest I've ever been! And I'm looking forward to go back there..
